~ Module Introduction ~
With this course participants are able to understand type of HVAC system and its components/equipment, proposing a suitable system for specific applications and exploring different equipment and components for particular applications.
With this course participants will be able to identify the cooling load for room/building based on various types of calculation, followed by analyzing the total cooling load in the room or building. Lastly, participants will be able to calculate the cooling load capacity using carrier handbook method.
With this course participants are able to understand the process of conditioning of air, read and plot the Psychometric chart and able to calculate the cooling load capacity using a Psychometric chart.
With this course, participants will be learning how to use a ductulator to size up the duct. Followed by learning the types of fans; selecting proper fan for correct application and selecting fan using catalogue. While also, learning on how to apply the Fan Laws in troubleshooting in the air system. Lastly, mastering the calculation of the static pressure of a ducting system and motor HP.
With this course, participants are able to learn how to perform pipe sizing for chilled water and condenser water system; understanding the correct typical connection to chiller, AHU, FCU, water-cooled package unit, and pumps. We will also be teaching how to estimate pump head, followed by selection of suitable pump for chilled water and condenser water system, followed by selecting as suitable pump using catalogue. Lastly, participants will learn to estimate the cooling tower capacity and type.
With this course, participants will be learning to understand the principle of LEV, elements of LEV and exploring the methodology of testing of LEV.
With this course, participants will be able to understand the application of the different types of filters, the design concept of a cleanroom for different application, FEB 209-E standard and ISO 16466 standard. During this course, there will also be discussion on the fundamental of indoor air quality, major causes of poor indoor air quality and the importance of indoor air quality. Lastly, participants will be able to identify the classification of a cleanroom and determine the design criteria for a cleanroom or dirty room.
With this course participants will be learning about the scope of the TAB works; followed by deeper understanding of the scope objectives and the procedures of TAB works.
With this course, participants will be learning how to perform the pipe sizing for water system, how to estimate the pump head, type of pipe materials and fitting types in pipping system. There will be a deeper understanding of: function of fittings, correct installation of fittings and the NPSH and cavitation phenomena. This way, participants will be able to determine the type of pipe materials and fitting types in the pipping system and is able to perform selection of suitable pump for water system.
With this course, participants will learn to understand the VRF network software. During this course, they will also be exploring installation methods, type of control devices, the features of VRF system and the system commissioning of the VRF system. Lastly, learning the technic of system troubleshooting.
With this course, participants will be learning proper construction of a duct work and determining the leakage standard. There will also be performing of the leakage test for duct work and dampers.
With this course, participants will have a deeper understanding on what is Building Management System and related hardware. They will be learning how to select the right system for the application and maintain its operations, proper installation and control method for the BAS and finally learning the troubleshooting and maintenance of BAS and controllers.
With this course, there will be a deeper understanding of HVAC systems in the building, and there will be identifying the testing parameters according to ICOP. Participants will have to perform IAQ assessment and prepare the test reports.
This course targets to train engineering personnel in understanding the pumps design, applications, and operation. There will be studying the system using various manual and software application methods. At the end of the course, participants will be able to gain technical knowledge needed in pump operation and maintenance. The participants should be able to work with various types of systems.

This course covers the essential skills to start basic computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations using Ansys Fluent software. The hands-on workshops cover every aspect of the end-to-end CFD workflow, including how to perform the entire meshing and solution process in the single-window Ansys Fluent user interface.
This course covers the fundamentals of electricity that the electrical personnel needs in domestic and commercial applications. Standard guide from Suruhanjaya Tenaga and the basic knowledge in troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical appliances will be included to equip participants with normal electrical practices.
This course covers the essential skills to start basic computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations using Ansys Fluent software. The hands-on workshops cover every aspect of the end-to-end CFD workflow, including how to perform the entire meshing and solution process in the single-window Ansys Fluent user interface.
This course allows participants to select equipment and carry out refrigerant pipe sizing. They will also be able to carry out electrical circuit design with emphasis on electrical protection sizing and cable sizing. Finally, they are able to carry out cold room cooling load estimation through analytical methods using ASHRAE tables and by software methods.

Participants will also be able to identify common chiller faults and to find suitable solutions and plan routine maintenance for chilled water plants.
With this course, participants will learn to identify routine maintenance procedure and have better understanding of understand the functions of various components of Ammonia refrigeration system in food processing plant, at the end of the course they will be able to appreciate safety procedures according to standards.

This course will teach the participants to simulate the Building load for a building using software. They will also learn to estimate the cooling load for a room/building based on various types of calculation.
This course will teach a deeper understanding of the different types of chiller system and operating principles of the chiller system; they will be able to familiarize with the selection of components and parts of the chiller systems. The participants should be able to mechanically and electrically troubleshoot the systems.
Upon completion of this program, the participants understand the essential knowledge and skills related to medical gases, including management, safety, and documentation
